Brendon Antiques are a UK-based seller of antiques and collectables.
We trade online and at selected antique fairs across the UK.

2. Item Descriptions
•All items are described in good faith. Any significant damage or wear is mentioned in the item descriptions.
•Antiques are pre-owned and may show age-related wear.
•Measurements, dates, and descriptions are approximate.
•Photographs form part of the description and should be viewed carefully before purchase.

3. Prices & Payment
•All prices are in GBP (£).
•Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.
•We currently only accept bank transfer. Payment details will be provided at checkout.

4. Delivery
•Orders are dispatched once payment has cleared.
•We aim to send your item as quickly as possible.
•We use insured delivery, which may require a signature on receipt.
•Risk passes to you once the item has been delivered.

5. Returns & Cancellations
•If you buy online or by email, you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
•To cancel, you must notify us in writing within 14 days. You then have a further 14 days to return the item.
•Items must be returned in the same condition. You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.
•Returns should be tracked and insured to avoid disputes about lost parcels.
•Refunds (including standard delivery cost) will be issued within 14 days of receiving the return.
•If an item is returned damaged due to buyer handling or poor packaging, we reserve the right to deduct an appropriate amount from the refund.
•Exemptions: in-person purchases (fairs, markets, shop), auction sales, and specially requested or customised items.

6. Faulty or Damaged Items
•If your order arrives damaged or not as described, contact us within 7 days of delivery.
•Please retain all packaging and provide photos of any damage.
•We will arrange a refund, exchange, or repair where appropriate.

7. Restricted Materials & Export Rules
•Some antiques may contain restricted materials such as tortoiseshell, ivory, coral, or exotic woods.
•We only sell such items in compliance with UK law, including the Ivory Act 2018 and CITES regulations.
•Items made before 3 March 1947 may qualify for exemption under “worked specimen” rules.
•For export outside the UK: buyers are responsible for obtaining any required CITES permits or Article 10 certificates before shipping.
•Buyers are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with their country’s import laws. We cannot be held liable for delays, refusals, or seizures by customs authorities.

•We only collect personal data necessary to process your order (e.g. name, address, contact details).
•Data is not shared with third parties except for payment processing and delivery.
•We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
•You may request to view or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us.

9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
